why the transformer secondary voltage is more than the load
end voltage like t/f 11KV/433V for 415V(terminal voltage)
Answer Posted / vishvesh
this difference is kept between transformer secondary and
load terminal because. considering line losses (losses
occurs in the transmission line from transformer secondary
to load).there must be some voltage drop in the
transmission line and also c.t.and p.t. connected across
the line for protection relays also consumes some kind of
voltage from the line.
