Ferranti Effect says that voltage at the receiving end is
higher than that at the sending end. How is it possible?

DURING NIGHT TIMES THERE IS LIGHT LOAD,SINCE POWER
CONSUMPTION IS LOW i.e;LIGHT LOAD THE VOLTAGE AT RECEVING
END INCREASES AND HENCE IS GREATER THAN SENDING END.
