Both of them are same..with slight diff..
Asset Management: The management of a client's investments
by a financial services company, usually an investment
bank. The company will invest on behalf of its clients and
give them access to a wide range of traditional and
alternative product offerings that would not be to the
average investor.
and Investment management is the professional management of
various securities (shares, bonds etc.) and assets (e.g.,
real estate), to meet specified investment goals for the
benefit of the investors. Investors may be institutions
(insurance companies, pension funds, corporations etc.) or
private investors (both directly via investment contracts
and more commonly via collective investment schemes e.g.
mutual funds or Exchange Traded Funds) .
