Raman site engineer joined on 1-1-2009 in the company with
an agreed salary of Rs 20000/-. On the joining date he was
given advance of Rs 50000/-agreeing for adeduction of Rs
7500/- for month from salary. Pass salary entry till
March,and let me know the advance balance as on 1st April

1-1-09 Raman A/c Dr 50000/-
To Cash A/c 50000/-
(Being salary advance paid to Raman)
1-2-09 Salaries A/c Dr 20000/-
To Raman A/c 7500/-
To Cash A/c 12500/-
(Being January month's salary paid to Raman, after
deducting the salary advance).
1-3-09 Salaries A/c Dr 20000/-
To Raman A/c 7500/-
To Cash A/c 12500/-
(Being February month's salary paid to Raman, after
deducting the salary advance).
1-4-09 Salaries A/c Dr 20000/-
To Raman A/c 7500/-
To Cash A/c 12500/-
(Being March month's salary paid to Raman, after
deducting the salary advance).
Up to March-09, we were deducted Rs.22500/- from Raman's
salary. Then his balance advance are Rs.27500/-.
Actually, the same question previously I asked, but Iam not
get correct answer. In the above answer I have some doubts.
Pls clarify the doubts. When we are working with Tally
package, for entering the salary advances, we will create
the personal A/c's under salary advances Group in Current
Assets. Salaries A/c are created under Indirect expenses.
my doubts are:
whenever we pay the salary to the employees, we enter as
salaries A/c dr to cash/bank Ac. According to this, we
will know only how much salaries were paid to the staff in
a particular month. Then, how to find about a particular
person salary paid or not?(without help of narration).
Now I required how to find about the particular person's
salary paid or not?, and how much amount of the salary
advance is pending to the particular person? I want both
results seperatly. Please give the solution for it. My e-
