if the 3 phase supply is balanced(ir+iy+ib=0) that time only
you earthed the mid point of earth else you must use some
proper earthing methods like resistance earthing,plate
earthing like that...

According to underground cables a) stress b/w sheath & conductor is high b) inrush of core & conductor
