Part A
The candidates are required to read out the sentences, as
instructed.
(These sentences need to be visible by the candidate so that
he/she can read it out.)
1.The customer was frustrated because we had been working on
his issue for nearly six hours.
2.Elizabeth needs a new pair of shoes because she has grown
out of her old ones.
3.Once a week, Bill and Cathy go out for dinner.
Part B
A sentence would be read out to the candidate and the
candidate is expected to listen carefully and repeat the
sentence back to me.
1.We are putting off our trip until January because of the
hurricane.
2.Our teacher broke the final project down into three
separate parts.
3.If everyone chips in we can get the kitchen painted by noon.
Part C
Answer the questions in a word or phrase.
1.Do you fill a pen with blood or ink? Answer: Ink
2.Where do you plug in a cable - in a pocket or in a
socket? Answer: In a socket
3.If you heat bread, does it become warmer or colder?
