Many says that it is the form factor only which is
responsible for such rating,for sinusoidal wave is 1.11.
But now-a-days, this system is not following because IEC
has revised its system.So we use 400 kV and not 440 kV ,
even we are going for 765kV.

We have a couple of oil tanks at our plant. One of them does not have a lightning arrester installed. My question is it necessary to install an arrestor on every tank or will this particular one be covered by the arrestor installed on the ajdacent tank, Since all the tanks are close to each other.
