How would you supply a single house hold load from a 3-phase
supply coming out of a sub-station?
Answer Posted / azarudeen
3-phase supply from a sub-station will be 11kv or
6.6kv.This Voltage is stepped down to 440V by the
distribution Transformer,the distribution transformer has
Delta - Star connection, so in the output side you will hav
neutral line.
Now the phase voltage is 440 V.To supply house hold load we
connect the mains between a phase and neutral
