in our sub station why we step down firstly 33kv\11kv then
11kv to 430v. can we direct step down 33v to 430.v.

yes we can directly step down from 33/.433kv.
the lv side remains constant for 11 or 33kv & hv side
depends on load i.e,
for load upto 4 mva 11kv ht line is required,whereas
for load above 4 mva 33kv ht line is required.
