An automatic voltage regulator, or AVR is used in a
generator to control the output voltage.
The AVR varies the excitation voltage (on the rotor) to
produce the desired voltage on the output terminals.
It is required because the excitation voltage changes as
the load (and power factor) change.

In ACS 1000 drive we are using 12 pulse converter,why don't use 3 pulse converter.
