HI I am sachin rai working in mahindra automotive
sector, pune, here is the list of all tests carried out of
testing transformer. if u want know more about it pls mail
at rai.sachin21 @gmail.com
1. Voltage ratio test To measure voltage ratio between
windings of transformer
2. Polarity
3. Phase relation test
4. Resistance measurements
5. No-load loss test
6. Exciting current test
7.Load loss and impedance test
8.Induce potential test
9. Applied potential test
10. Oil test
11. Insulation resistance test
12. Leakage test
13. Temperature-rise test
14. Dielectric type test (Lightning and switching Impulse
test, BIL)
15. Dielectric special test BIL FW&CW
16. Determination of capacitance winding-to-earth, and
between windings
17. Measurement Zero-sequence impedance on three phase
transformer
18. Determination of sound level
