How does one do Ad-hoc Testing?

Answer Posted / nitin verma

Hi,
In the Ad Hoc testing no planing and documentation is being
done, no formal test case is being prepared for this. Tester
tries to break the system by using negative approach. Monkey
testing is the subset of this.

Plz correct me if i am wrong.....
