AT THE TIME OF INSTALLING THE POWER PLANT POWER IS TAKEN
FROM NEARBY GRID AND GIVING THE SUPPLY TO THE GENERATOR
WHICH ACTS AS MOTOR. WHAT IS THE NEED OF RUNNING THE
GENERATOR AS MOTOR?
Answer Posted / natrajan tt
normally nobodies given to the supply directly to the
generator. In a power plant installation time they are drawn
supply from grid and given to the step down transformer like
11kv/430v for boiler and turbine auxiliaries startup use,
otherwise if ur possible to giving the supply to generator
it will act like a motor.Breaker capacity & Cable size or no
of runs to be added.
