What are the Different Status of test Cases?

following are the different status for a test case:
New : found by the tester not yet reported to developer
Open: reported from tester to developer.And developer is
working on that defect is open bug
Fixed : Fixed according to the developer
closed :tester confirmed that defect fixed correctly
Reopen : The which is not fixed correctly from the developer
Defer: This defect has been postponed for future
Not a bug: Not a bug according to the developer

Can you explain v model in manual testing?
Hi, Can anyone suggest a test case writing technique for the below scenario. 1. User draws a lines on the image 2. User selects the lines and right clicks ( Measuremnts like distance between the start and the end point, coordinates of start point and coordinates of end point) 3. User selects one of the measurement Measurement is displayed Just want to highlight, i am looking for a test case writing technique for above scenario.
