A jig is a device used in metal fabrication to do
repetitive assemblies.With the aid of a jig,semiskilled
personnel can do compicated assemblies guided by the jig
A fixture is mainly a device used as a restraint during an
operation.It holds the work piece in position for safe
operation e.g during welding,drilling,milling,etc
