How the universe is working for fetching data? when it's get
connected with db or data source? what is micro cube and
when it is created? Is micro cube reside in inside of the
universe?

1.universe fetch the data once it is connected to the
database.
2.Microcube works like a cache, once you drag few objects
in results objects pane and run, complete report data will
go and store in microcube and then display in the report.
For Example: In the report if you apply filter/rank/formula
you will get data that satisfies your
formulae/filters/rank, where the rest of the data goes? it
will be not deleted from the report, microcube will store
that data.
when ever you remove filters,formulae from the report,
again you will get the complete data from microcube. this
is the functionality of microcube.
