there is little bit confussion b/w ur 1st part of question
are u asking about roting or routing protocol,both have the
diffrent diffination
ok
at firstly i am going to difine what is routing
routing-routing is a process to take data/farme.packet from
posttion and deliver it to another possition is called
routing in other ways we can say that picking the data from
source and transfer it to the distinations is called
routing.
ok now routing protocol= protocall is a set of rules.are u
aggry with that?ok then the rules by which any routing
process take place is caleed routing protocall
that is
staic routing protocaol
dynamic routing protocol
distance vector routing protocol
link state roting protocall
hybrid routing protocall
these are the some name of protocall by which routng take
place.
ok now routed protocol-
routed protocol=once all router know bout all the n/w
routed protocol can be used to send user data through the
establish enterprise.
routed protocol assigined to an interface and determine the
method of packet dlivery
