GENERATOR AS MOTOR?

Answer Posted / bikash c pal

I think The question who have asked, wanted to ask that "AT
THE TIME OF START-UP A POWER PLANT....." & NOT "AT THE TIME
OF INSTALLING THE POWER PLANT ...."-------------If my above
assumption is true, then the answer WILL BE as follows :-

TO BRING THE GENERATOR NEAR TO SYNCHRONUS SPEED DURING
START UP.
