1.as voltage of line is increased current is decreased.so
the copper losses associated wth current r reduced.but iron
losses dependent on voltage r increased.as the supply
voltage is constant so r the iron losses.but copper losses
vary wth load(load current)bcz current is less we cn say
that overall losses i.e. cu nd iron losses r reduced.
2.as nw supply votlage is increased size of current
carrying conductor reduces as current is low so less area
required for power dissipation.
3.as losses r less so higher is the effiency of line so is
the power transmission capability.
