1)Analyse all the tables ,columns & joins required for ur
Cubes.
2)in Impromtu drag all the tables,columns .abd give their
join.and form the catalog.If any loops then resolve the
loop.
3)Then generate a impromtu report by taking all the catalog
columns.and save this as .iqd extension.
4)This .iqd file will be the input for our cubes.
5)Then open this .iqd file in tranformer.where you will
create heirarchy for dimension and define the measures.
6)Save it as .pyi files.
7)Run the .pyi files.
8)When the cube is generated save it as .mdc format.
9)This is the cubes.
10)You can open the .mdc file to create your cube report
(multi dimensional) in transformer

I have 7500 rows. I need all rows in single reports. Which type of prompt we have used retrieving all rows and show in a report? We have dynamical queries q1, q2, q3, q4, q5. If customer selects the particular, query that only show in execution report. In case it may more then one, how do you execute the particular query item in report page? Hi All, I have 1.6 years of experience in cognos in India. I always wanted to do a MS program to earn some money in US. But I think I am little late in taking the decision. As If I have to write my GRE it will be August or September of 2012 and will have to apply for fall 2013 as fall 2012 admissions are almost done now. So my concern is how will be my career do if my MS is at this stage,. i,.e. 3 years experience in Cognos and 2 years MS program in and again looking for job in U.S. Have I been too late in taking the call? I heard that MIS (Managing Information Systems) is having very good placements now. So guys, please advice me in taking the decision to have a good career and also in terms of earning money as I have few financial problems to solve (which I am hoping to solve when I get job in US after completion of my MS program).
