shear wall is mainly to resist earth quake forces in tall
builldings done at cornors mainly and in 1or3 intermediate
portions as a measure of safety against collapse without any
warning as per results of structural engg lab in chennai
this may look little costly but safe
even this cannot prevent Earth QUAKE
