What is mean by CT Saturate? how do we calculate?

Answer Posted / rod

A CT saturates when a greater current is passed though it
than it was designed for, the way to test a CT (not design)
is to inject it with current until the curve flattens out,
the transistion curve is known as the knee point. It is not
calculated as such.
