Hello everybody.......I am Vishal from Bangalore....I have
secured admission in a flight school at USA for commercial
pilot training. Ill be appearing for M1 visa interview at US
consulate (Chennai) shortly. I am not taking any
professional guidance for my visa interview, so i would glad
if you guys can answer few of my questions and advise me on
the same.
Let me tel you guys a lil about my training. The duration of
my training is 7-9months. The cost of my training as
mentioned on I-20 is $45000 U.S. dollars. It includes 6
months accommodation, food and and utility expenses. I have
got a education loan from a nationalized bank. The bank has
sanctioned $41500 U.S. dollars. My parents are funding the
remaining amount required for my training and other
personnel expense .
My first questions that, Apart from the $45000 U.S. dollars
how much more funds will the interviewer expect me to have
at the time of my interview.
My second question is regarding the work permit. As you guys
know currently air carriers in India are suffering badly,
so they have stopped hiring pilots. If i perform well my
flight school is ready to employ me as a instructor. However
with M1 visa i can stay only for a year without any work
permit. So is it possible to apply for work permit and get
my visa extended at the end of my training without having
come to India?

Hello,I'm going to take my interview on August in order to take have my master in Business Administration.First I didn't take my TOEFL Since i don't have much time for it,and I was also told that it doesn't matter if I got it or not.Secondly,My sponsor is the father of my sister hasband;in fact he has a lot of money cuz he owns a Company.I want to know if this will affect my chances of gaining my VISA.Thanx in advance.

I recently got my I-20 and also fill out my US embassy form but i admited at california state university(campus:Humboldt state)at my I-20 there is written school name: california state university and Humbold state university.Now what should i say at interview?california or humboldt,please answer me.
hello guys .... i got my i20 from pittsburg state uni. and troy uni. but i have no gre only ilets. my ilets score is 6. i complete my b.tech with 71% and 12th with 66% and 10th with 76%. now i have no time for the preparation of gre. my interview will be in may end. pls tell me guys will there any chance to get visa... pls reply on dpreet12@yahoo.com

hai sir i am 4m hyderabad, i was caught with fake toefl in us embassy in chennai and gave a writtern letter dat that toefl was fake? can i apply again for the visa ? will it effect my future applications? pls help mee...

Me: 3months exp & I underwent a leg surgery ( Actually I am 2007 passed out student & I underwent leg surgery for 2times, which is very rare condition & I had 3month work exp also. But in DS 160 form I didnt mention about exp. I dont want to tell lie to them so I told about 3months work exp & later I told about leg surgery. But she didnt listen to my surgery. Visa Officer: she told something Me: I didnt listen to her properly because I was upset & I told Thank you & I left the place with my papers So When can I re-apply for 2nd VI & wat to do with my 3yrs gap after undergraduation Plz suggest me I wanna know & I wanna undergo for the final surgery soon. i have applied for university of tennessee. my ielts score is 7.0 bands, toefl 77 and gre 810. i have quite a number of backlogs ie 15. what should i say if they ask me about my backlogs. this is for the third time am applying. And have changed the university. the last time it was international technological uni? please helppp!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am doing my graduation from delhi university and failed in second year once.now is third year i wrote gmat got 700 and toefl 97.getting failed in your graduation is big black mark for us student visa?what problem can be there?i am completely broken thinking about this last step. please help.
