In what circumstanced the CT used for protection relay will
be saturated?and what will happen to the relay is the CT is
saturated?

The CT saturation occurs when secondary winding is kept
open. At this time there is no demegnatising current flows
in secondary winding and due to this primary winding will
carry very high megnatising current.As the high megnatising
current produces high megnatic flux which causes the CT
core saturation

the site measured knee point voltage of protection class CTs should be greater than rated knee point voltage? what about meetering class CTs. Should it be below the rated knee point voltage?
