in the diesel engine compression ration is higher. At higher
C.R. diesel get burn due to multiple point self ignition but
in SI engine C.R. is very less so there might be possibility
that diesel may not burn. If still it start burning due to
sparking, then uncompleted combustion, Detonation/ knocking
will take place. which reduces efficiency and power
