kV (Kilo Watt) is the unit of measurement of electrical
power. While kV is the unit of measurement of voltage
(potential difference).
for the three phase supply
kW= 1.732xVxIxcos phi
where V= Voltage
I= Current
Cos phi= power factor
For single phase supply
kW= VxIx cos phi
