how can we connect database in manual testing?

Suppose the database you are using is SQL Server and that
is deployed in a separate server then to connect to that
server from your desktop you should have sql client
installed in your system and Sql client should be
configured to map to the database in the server.
Let me know if you want the steps to do the same.
