x+2y=10-----1equ
y/x=1/3
x=3y
sub x=3y in 1eqa
therefore
we get 3y+2y=10
5y=10
y=2
sub y=2 in x=3y
therefore x=6.
the answer is x=6

Hi Guys. I am an Instrumentation and Control Engineer(ICE) and have filled various PSU entrance exam forms.
