When you say NEW, do you mean only in regards to QTP or new
to testing as well, Elaborate more
If only QTP,
Then first visit www.w3schools.com and understand the
concept of VB scripts, try out few examples, once you get
comfortable then u know how and what VBscript is !!!!
Download the trial version of QTP and get through with
reading and implmenting as per the user material of the QTP
which comes along when u download it on ur system, You will
100% get the BASIC UNDERSTANDING ABOUT QTP...
FIRST IMPLEMENT the above rather than getting into books,
your basic foundation and understanding about QTP is
important, and can you be detailed when you have written My
company is QTP, what do you mean over here, do let know

Hi, I am using OutputCheckPoint and I am storing the value in the data table. The stored value for column:bedroom:"Bed:4" The another value for column:bathroom:"Bath:2 Full,1 Partial" I need only the no 4 from the first column. I need only the no 2,1 from the second column. I recorded a Web App with a Oracle backend using QTP 9.5 and for some reason the scripts don't play back> What am I missing at this point. I recorded the same Apps under Sybase and they work great. This is Oracle 10g. Why won't my scripts play back.

I have two For loop, first For loop does is creates a customer and input the customer info and then the second for loop within the first for loop does the follows which is capture the customer name and verify the with the data within the datatable. The problem I am coming across is that when it goes through the second time creating another customer and then verify the second customer then it creates the following during runtime. I want is to have the customer2 below Customer1 under the Customer_from_Apps. Any help will be greatly appreciate it.
