I have installed capacitor bank at secondary transformer.
cos phi is increase. but on load (far from transormer), it
still poor. Can anybody explain it??

Capacitor Bank is used to improve the Power Factor.
As you said, Pf will increase only in the incomer side.
Because you have connected the capacitor bank in the
secondary side near the incomer. So if you need to improve
the pf near load, you need to place the capacitor bank near
the load, but according to the load. So if you put the
capapcitor banks near the load side, power factor will
improve not only in the load side, but also in the incomer
side.
