The Reporting Agent in SAP BW allows the execution of BW
queries in batch mode. In SAP BW reporting, not all OLAP
functions are online.
As a result, there is an increasing need for functions to be
executed in batches. Batch mode in BW reporting is used to
print reports, automatically identify execptions, enable
users to take action. SAP BW reporting also enables users to
view results in the form of a web template or calculate
value sets for use in value set variables.
