I w'd also like to congrats all of you for qualifying this
exam..and thank to them who are sharing their views and
giving important informations.

i h've been selected too and my interview is on 23.10.2008
in Lucknow if anyone has the same place/date then do tell
on my mail given below.

one thing i would like to say that this is a very good
place for all of us to share our views for the purpose, now
i personally request to those who are appearing earlier,
must to share their experiances when they have done..

Some question that come in my mind are:

1- Before few month SBI took a decesion about NOT TO GIVE
LOAN FOR TRACTOR then it take it back why??

2- Which was the first bank of india and when it started
its operations?? and my ans. is Imperial Bank

3- Which is the largest bank of world regarding money and
man power??

4- What is SUB PRIME CRISIS???

5- NAME THE BANKS OF AMERICA BECAME INSOLVENT???

and i also think that they will ask some general questions
so preapare for them...

hello, i m in IOB as clerk (joined 23 nov 2009) and i have passed sbi written test of clerical, i m confused whether to show i m in IOB or not in interview, if yes then i have to give NO OBJECTION CERT. pls guide me......

i finished my interview on 8th may....... they asked me these questions...... 1)tell me abt urself(I andwered for 2 mins) 2)difference between 2g and 3g(3g is faster than 2g)i forgot to answer that 3g has more bandwidth and it is circuit switched network 3)what is the uniqueness of 500 rupees note (that circle at corner for blind people , wen in light the colour of 500 changes) 4)what is the technology of atm(i dont know) 5)what are the different types of deposits(Recurring and fixed deposits) 6)what is recent hockey tournament going on(this also i dont know) 7)who is leading in recent world chess championship(anand wen i saw but later i dont know who was leading) 8)who is topper in recent IAS exams?(i didnt answer) 9)what u consider as ur life time achievement? the panel was very soft......so no tension......
