Out of 10 white, 9 black and 7 red balls, in how many ways
can we select one or more balls
please with solution.
Answer Posted / sudheer
we need to have one or more balls, so its like a position
where we should not be with no balls.
so answer is (total number of ways we can select the balls
in all possible ways) - (no. of ways where we don't have
any balls selected)
So, no. of ways where we don't have any balls selected =
10C0*9C0*7C0 = 1
total number of ways we can select the balls in all
possible ways = 10!*9!*7!/(10*9*7)
so, answer is ((10!*9!*7!)/(10*9*7)) - 1 =
