Validation is used for consistency of the data
For eg; when a company having 4 business areas A,B,C,D
and 4 Company Codes 1,2,3,4
If u want the company 1 used only business area A and the
Company 2 used only B like wise to restrict not using
nonother then mentioned business area we use validation
rules
Substitution is used for facility
For eg; for doc type sa and company code 100 we want
narration as "being the company' for default display when
we select sa doc type this will done by substitution
