The cost of four dozen proof machine ribbons and five dozen
accouting machine ribbons was Rs.160/-. If one dozen
accounting machine ribbons cost Rs.20/-, what is the cost of
a dozen proof machine ribbons?
Answer Posted / anitha bharathan
Given:
4( dozen Proof machine)+5(dozen Accounting machine)=160
Also 1 dozen Accounting machine=20
Therefore,
4( dozen Proof machine)+5(20)=160
4( dozen Proof machine)=160-100
4( dozen Proof machine)=60
dozen Proof machine=60/40
dozen Proof machine=15
