1Normal backup
2Dally backup
3Copy backup
4Differential backup
5Incremental Backup
Answer
Normal backup : All the files backup set the archive bit
for the file backup for the restore need one tape.
copy :- backup all the file that dosn`t have set the
archive bit mark as backup for restore need last normal
backup and all copy tape since last normal backup.
DAILY :- Backup all files that changes today and and
doesnot set archived bit as mark as backup for restore need
last normal tape and all daily backup.
Incremental:A backup that copies only those files created
or changed since the last normal or incremental backup. It
marks files as having been backed up. If you use a
combination of normal and incremental backups to restore
your data, you will need to have the last normal backup and
all incremental backup sets.
Defrential:-A backup that copies files created or changed
since the last normal or incremental backup. It does not
mark files as having been backed up (in other words, the
archive attribute is not cleared). If you are performing a
combination of normal and differential backups, restoring
files and folders requires that you have the last normal as
well as the last differential backup.
