Consolidation route means from dev system to qa system means modifiable to not modifiable.

Delivery route means qa to prd means not modifiable to not modifiable.

Using Tcode STMS there we have one option called route map button there it will appear.

Answer

Before applying support pack we need to take appropriate backups if any thing goes wrong replace back up files back out is not possible for SP .

First check Back Ground work process are free or not then Reschedule it with trace using tcode ST05 then we come to know what is the issue and check indexes are there or not and check enque server is working or not then table spaces .
