To merge cells vertically in Excel, select the range of cells you want to merge, right-click, and select "Format Cells", then go to the "Alignment" tab, check the box that says "Vertical alignment: Merge cells", and click "OK". Alternatively, you can press Alt+J, A, A, V, M after selecting the cells.
