Do solid state drives wear out?
Answer / Mohammed Shahid
Unlike traditional hard disk drives, solid-state drives (SSDs) do not have moving parts and are designed to last much longer. However, SSDs still degrade over time due to the finite number of write cycles that their flash memory components can handle. While modern SSDs may have vastly improved lifespans compared to older ones, it's still a factor to consider in their long-term reliability.
