How do I know if chkdsk worked?
Answer / Bhim Bharti
You can check if chkdsk was successful by opening Command Prompt as an administrator and typing 'chkdsk c:'. If no issues were found, it will display 'The type of the file system is NTFS. CHKDSK is not required on this volume.' If there were issues, you will see a list of errors that were corrected.
