To change your Hotmail email address to an Outlook account in Outlook 2017, follow these steps:
1. Open the Outlook app.
2. Click on 'File' > 'Account Settings' > 'Account Settings'.
3. Under Accounts tab, click on 'New'.
4. Select 'Manual setup or additional server types'.
5. Choose 'POP or IMAP'
6. Fill in your email details: Your Name, Email Address (your new Outlook address), and Account Type as 'IMAP'.
