If I am running on my db instance a multi-az deployments, can I use to the stand by the db instance for read or write a operation along with to primary db instance?
Answer / Chetna Rana
In a Multi-AZ (Multi Availability Zone) deployment for a DB Instance in AWS, the standby replica is automatically created and maintained as a synchronized copy of the primary instance. However, it's designed only to take over for read or write operations if the primary instance fails. It's not intended to handle read or write operations while the primary instance is running.
