To assign local administrator rights to a domain user, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the machine as an admin.
2. Open Local Users and Groups by typing lusrmgr.msc in the Run dialog (Win+R).
3. Navigate to Users > Groups > Administrators.
4. Right-click Administrators, select Properties.
5. Click Add, enter the domain user's account name, and click Check Names to ensure it's correct.
6. Click OK, then OK again.
7. You can also Synchronize all Domain Permissions by checking the 'Apply existing local group policy...' option.
