In ActionScript 3.0, RemoteObject does not automatically serialize and deserialize ValueObjects. You need to explicitly call the remoting-config file's 'useCode' property to use code-based serialization for your ValueObjects. If you use AMF PHP or Remoting Services, make sure that your ValueObjects are mapped correctly.
