The various classes of devices in Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) are as follows:
1. Control Point (CP) - Initiates playback of content from a rendezvous point to a renderer
2. Rendezvous Point (RP) - Manages the discovery and control of playback, acts as an intermediary between CP and renderers
3. Media Server (MS) - Stores media content and makes it available for sharing
4. Media Player (MP) - Plays back media content from a server
5. Digital Camera (DC) - Captures still images or video clips and shares them with other devices
6. Mobile Phone (MPhone) - Combines some features of CP, MP, and DC
