In chromatography, Stationary phase is responsible for the
separation of compounds from mixture. Depending upon the
stationary phase chromatography is classified as:
Phase Stationary Phase Mobile phase
Normal: Polar Non polar
Reverse: Non polar Polar
Generally Reverse phase chromatograpy is used for analysis
as well as separation.

In Chemistry, the substance or material which doesn't change its physique or state in accordance with the Changes that occurred in surroundings. Generally, there are three phases that possessed by substances, i.e.,
1. Solid State
2. Liquid State
3. Gaseous State
But now a days one state also be discovered by scientists, i.e., Plasma State.
But in Electrical Engineering aspects, for an AC Supply wave there are 3 phases i.e. R, Y & B. The phase difference of each phase is 120 degree displaced. i.e. its changes its phase in accordance with time, so that for AC System it produced fluctuating or rotating phase. But For DC system there is no phase difference, the output wave given by dc system is no -ve cycles and also no rotating effect for phase. There for for DC system the phase is always become stationary.

Simply the phase which is steady through which the mobile phase(solvent) will pass is called stationary phase.
Take the example of TLC:Generally silica gel , alumina or any other type of such adsorbents are used as stationary phase.
If the stationary p0hase is polar , the chromatography is of normal phase and if non polar it is called reverse phase.
Mobile phase is the solvent in which the analyte to be seperated is dissolved and passed through the stationary phase. eg; toulene ,methanol etc

If we get 100% assay of an Initial sample ,and the stability studies of the same sample got 90% dissolution result, and when the same stability sample was analyzed for RS studies no impurities was found . Where the 10% Active substance were gone during dissolution analysis. Please help me in getting the conclusion.
