i have got thru cornell univ for phd with full schol and stipend. i wanted to know wat kind of questions do they ask ? i mean do they really grill you. wat kind of questions are phd students normally asked ?

Dear, One of my close friend is in B2 Visa. Twice she went in B2 and came back to india. First trip to US in June 2008 and second trip to US in Oct 2008. I passed my 10th ( CBSE ) in 1998 ( 76% marks ).I did a Three Year Engineering Diploma in Computer Science in the period 2002 - 2005 ( 83% marks ).I did National Open School 12th Standard in 2009 - 2010 with Eng,Phy,Chem,Bio,Maths as subjects ( 84% marks ).I have Academic Gap in the period 1998 - 2002 and 2005 - 2009 as I was involved in family run small scale business.Now I plan to do Undergraduate Degree in Business in the U.S.A.I am now 28 years old.Will the Academic Gap affect my chances to get admission ?
Hello Fellas, I am about to see my interview in few days. My university expense is about 14000$ for one year.Its a 2 year course so that leads to a total to 28000$. For that we have about 1200000Rs in bank account(arnd 26500 $) other then this an investment proof of 2Lacs (4000$)+ 9 Lacs of gold(20000 $)+ 8-9 Lacs(18-20 K$) in my father's pf acct. On income side parents have well over 8 lacs rs((18000$) per year income. On fixed asset site a house worth: 12000000 Rs(250000$)+ a office worth 40000$ first please guide me will it be sufficient? hello everybody, I was rejected for the visa twice last for fall-07 intake. According to me the reason for the rejection may be my application for the visitor visa ten years before.
