CROSS SECTION OF A CONDUCTOR IN TIME t THEN CURRENT IS GIVEN BY

ITS UNIT IS AMPERE.
ONE AMPERE OF CURRENT IS SAID TO BE FLOW THROURH ANY WIRE IF
1 COULOMB OF CHARGE FLOW THROUGH IT IN 1 SECOND.
