Reactive power is utilised in inductive or capacitiance
ciruits but does not produce real work. It is expressed as
Q and is given by
P=VIcos phie
Active power:
The time rate of energy per second is power. Basic unit of
power is watt power for one second requires 1 joule energy
practical unit is kw and 1kw=1000watt
