large cable have shielding of metal over cable to get good
mechnical strenth. some time this shielding has been earth.
when ever short ckt accurs between line and earth. it will
use to locet the fault by fault locater...

My question is it necessary to install an arrestor on every tank or will this particular one be covered by the arrestor installed on the ajdacent tank, Since all the tanks are close to each other.
